Welcome to the 2010 Cupcake Mission to raise money for The Michael J. Fox Foundation! Last year’s nationwide Cupcake Mission that raised money for The MJFF was a fun success raising over $1500.00, and we are kicking off this year’s International Cupcake Mission on April 21st( my birthday )!!!! I can’t even remotely fathom a better way to celebrate a new year… The official contest starts April 21st and goes through April 25th…all participating bakeries can choose to donate a portion of one day’s sales or a portion of the week’s sales to The Michael J. Fox Foundation directly through the link provided:
Why did I say “official” above…that is because I realize that the April 21st date is AFTER taxes so if anyone would like to participate and get a tax credit BEFORE April 21st you can, and still be eligible to win the contest. Make your donation through the link provided above, print off your receipt, and email me your confirmation. And what will one lucky bakery or cupcake-related business win???
A violin, case and bow generously donated by Howard Core Company. Notice the super cute pink bow. Howard Core Company teamed up with Glasser Bow Manufacturing to create the fabulous pink bow to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research, and it’s such a cuptastic color, we thought it should be part of the official Cupcake Mission violin package. The complete outfit has a retail value of $575.00. Please confirm that you are participating so that your bakery logo and location can be featured on the website for free publicity and advertising. I am also happy to promote you via Facebook if you have an account!!!! Violins and Cupcakes seem like a rare combination, but check out the video below to see why they go hand in hand… Let’s get frosted for a GREAT cause and put The Michael J. Fox Foundation out of business!!!!

Baltimore, Maryland April 15th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at The Federal House Annapolis. It is a $13.00 cover charge for a cupcake tasting and wine/beer pairing. All money raised benefits the Team Challenge in its efforts to raise money to find a cure for Colitis and Chron's. Last year Jayde hosted a Cupcake Bar to raise money for LLS and was very successful, and now she is teaming up with Tammy and others to help another very worthwhile cause. GO GIRLS (and BOYS)!!!!! I wish I were there to toast you!!!!!
